Great little place. Stopped for a light lunch and the croque monseur au frittes was superb. Just embarassing as a Brit that the French frittes are in another league to chips. The salad was, of course, crisp, fresh and dressed to, er, kill. Brilliant.
Two large Affligem Blond matched perfectly.
Great service, a nice buzz, perfectly perfect.
Nice atmosphere. Unfortunately we were told only fries and tenders were available. After our lackluster food arrived we saw other food items being delivered to other guests. Disappointing.
No thank you goodbye upon leaving.
Thought we’d try this bar as I absolutely love Jim Morrison & his picture is outside. Over priced, not welcoming & didn’t even thank us, just carried on his conversation. €11 for a pint of IPA and a sprite, joke
I had heard the stereotypes about French people being rude to tourists, and now I understand where it comes from. I went up to the bar to order a beer and just then a woman came in from the rain and asked to use the bathroom in English. She begged the guy and said she was desperate and he just said "no". I then asked him if he spoke English and he gave me the same reply, then bragged to his friend in French about how he always just tells all the tourists "no". What a sad little man. Oh, and the music is a nightmare.
Nice cosy place
Burgers are tasty and so is staff however
1 star is lost because toilets are very dirty and hand basin does not work.
Mediocre food, poor service
Waaaay too much money asked for what they give you 17€ for a plate of meat and cheese of very poor quality. Beer tastes great but also overpriced
Nice pub. Nice atmosphere. Good prices.
